| Quality work guaranteed |
The job is always quaranteed.I will give a 3 year limited warranty
on all of my jobs. I can give this warranty because I always make sure the prep work is done properly
and that the right products are used. The prep work and the right choice of products is
what will mostly determine the durability of the projects. Applying the paint, the finishing work,
is also important. This is where the job will look professional when done by a master painter.
The paint will look even, only straight lines and a constant color without any drips and drags.
If there is a problem with the workmanship or materials we used,
we will promptly fix it at no charge to you.
Quality work starts with a good prep work. This is where most painting companies will cut corners. Without good preparation the paint job will look nice at first but it will quickly deteriorate. For outside work, the woodwork has to be scraped, sanded and then primed with a good quality primer. Most of the time 100% acrylic paints will be enough, but when the previous paint was a glossy oil paint then unless it is very well sanded, latex paint will not have a good adhesion, regardless of what some paint stores workers will say. Sometimes only an exterior oil paint will do, and only then can the work be guaranteed. Special primers are sometimes needed for metal like gutters and downspouts. For inside work all surfaces must be repaired before the final coat. All holes are filled and cracks repaired, caulking is used on all gaps and on all new trims. All new drywall and patches are sealed with a proper sealer before being painted. Also all the walls and woodwork are properly sanded. The proper tools are always used. Sometimes sprayers are used, for example on a textured ceilings or on the exterior stucco. But Mostly, a quality job is done with a brush and a roller. |
